Derrick Wang wins ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Award

Derrick Wang is named a winner of a 2007 ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Award for his string quartet Playground.

The award will be presented at the 8th Annual ASCAP Concert Music Awards at Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater in New York on May 24, 2007.
